Delete from inside the app
This is the fastest way, and it removes everything below automatically:
- Open Link-up and sign in
- Go to Profile → Account
- Tap Delete account
- Confirm when prompted
You have 30 days to change your mind. Your profile is hidden immediately and no one can see or contact you. If you sign back in within 30 days, your account is restored. After 30 days it is permanently erased and cannot be recovered.
If you cannot sign in
Lost access to your phone or email? Email us from the address on the account and we will delete it for you. We may ask you to confirm a detail so we can be sure the account is yours.
We respond within 5 working days and complete deletion within 30 days of confirming your identity.
What is deleted

Nothing in this table can be used to identify you as a Link-up member, except where we are legally obliged to retain it.
Cancel your subscription first
Deleting your account does not cancel a paid subscription, because subscriptions are billed by Apple and Google rather than by us. Cancel it in the App Store or Google Play before deleting, or you may continue to be charged.
Your rights
Under South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) you may ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email support@linkdup.co.za.
